There used to be an us
Now there no longer is
The temperature rose
To a great extent
Slowly we melted
Creating a pure figure
And one we shall remain
The existence is forever more
Something completely real & true
In a world full of deception & lies
An eternal bliss
That was started by a simple kiss
An everlasting connection
That no words could ever define
It will remain a secret
Hidden deep within thyself
Throughout the end of time

Those connections always remain forever in our hearts. This is another sad yet lovely poem.

Well, I do not actually find this sad. It is a nice portrayal of life.

We are like pieces of wax, which on making a connections, discover the passions of love, oneness and friendship. The soul is stirred and we become united as one. The inanimate pieces are transformed into a unique caricature, a work of art, open for admiration. This connection is that which is there "forever".

I enjoyed this piece, daft.

this poem is very touching.
love is awonderful thing, to have experienced it can be one of the best things in life, it can also be one of the most heartbreaking.
this poem in some ways is sad, but i found it uplifting,

"And one we shall remain
The existence is forever more
Something completely real & true
In a world full of deception & lies"

nicely done.

I enjoyed reading this..."an everlasting connection..perhaps this explains why I like to keep pictures of my old girlfriends around...it makes me feel comfortable and connected...I even have the picture of my girlfriend that I took to the senior prom. James
