Okay, So I'm breaking the rules here, Meandering in this room of the house With my poetry (if we can call it that), But I wanted to ponder my existence here. Once I knocked ever so slightly While I watched people Through through the windows Galavant around Like they were having a poetic slumber party, Tentatively I turned the knob When I heard a cry of welcome, And gradually I became comfortable. As this new family grew increasingly familiar, And boundlessly willing to stretch and hand or two Of kind words, I grew... Now It looks like they created a monster (if you want to get cliche about it), And although the walls have gone up elsewhere, And people have drifted away from the family, I still believe we're all connected. Its nice to have friends I don't see daily. It makes me appreciate them more, And makes me take them for granted less. Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

It gets bigger and bigger with each passing day, doesn't it?! Mind boggling! But it still remains such a friendly place, I think. I love meandering through all the rooms! Denise |

Temptress~ Howdy ! Come on in ... doors always open. It is without a doubt the friendliest house on the block. Enjoyed your meandering. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |
