11 years prior seems such a span to be remembered naught cept that once the sequence began it could not be willfully ended! 11 years hence so much has transpired in all this time and we ourselves have come full circle! 11 years past to present changed and still changing more fulfilled than ever thought possible we have lost nearly everything save one another to addiction and desire but we have survived and we are the stronger for it all! SLR 5-1-00 Words are my medicine. Read and live and love and heal! |

Poet deVine, It is partly about our relationship....which we have been blessed with for nearly 30 years. We certainly couldn't have overcome all this without a strong and special one, but the 11 years refers to our struggle together against drugs....If we hadn't have quit together we wouldn't still be together! April 2000 we are 11 years drug free! Words are my medicine. Read and live and love and heal! |

Congratulations, you two! 11 years drug-free together - and I can sense so much love there! I'm proud of you, and happy for you! Thanks for sharing! A thirty year love is a rare and marvelous thing. My husband and I have one that spans thirty-seven. Life has had many bumps, but he's worth doing anything for! I'd fight like a tiger for him, and I've heard that drugs can be a lot like a tiger. You guys are great, to have conquered that beast together! Wonderful! |
