The Dragon Fly As I walk in the tall green grass a handsome dragon fly hovers near with large inquiring eyes his colors quite lovely iridescent blue and green shining in the sun he seems to follow my every move slicing the hot air with split-second speed he even follows my dog as we quietly walk under the trees I think he’s my friend although tomorrow he may be a hollow shell silent on the ground BloomingRose |

You describe here an interesting encounter with a mysterious and curious stranger-who seems as inquisitive about you and your dog as you are about him. And yet the realization is--as you bring out well, no matter how much interest and seeming cohesion is involved, some relationships or experiences that we have, are limited at best. So the best thing one can do--it make that brief moment speciaL! It appears you have done that--do you relate to others in a similar fashion??? Enjoyed it! David |

Blooming Rose: I enjoyed your poem especially as I see so many dragon flies in our yard (we live near two creeks) and they do seem to follow a person around. Very descriptive. Betty Lou Hebert |

Dear Blooming Rose I loved your poem. There is poetry all around and you have the ability to find it in most unusual places. Joyce |
