Pink Twilight The dinner dishes are all done. I walk outside to watch the sun That sinks into the colored nest Of clouds that tower in the west And as I watch, the colors flare, Until at last, the very air Seems tinged with pink. The mountains too Are painted in this rosy hue. I lift my head to look on high. Flaming, feathered clouds drift by And all the world, from east to west Is with pink twilight's blushes blessed! peaceful, colorful, and uniquely Betty.. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Joyce: Thank you for commenting. I always think of my daughter, Ellie, when we have a "pink twilight". She has always delighted in them. Betty Lou Hebert |
