There's a little rabbit She prays to the moon That the goddess up there Will send for her soon Isn't it said that There's a queer one behind the clouds? That thing with a sweet woffly nose And magnificent furry paws and snout? The little rabbit Has fallen in love With the legendary one That lives within the clouds Therein the round sphere The mysterious shadow lurks Waiting for his little rabbit Perking his anxious ears When will the time come When these two adoring creatures unite? Lets watch as she prays to the moon Each and every night -------------------------------- There's a chinese legend about a goddess who lives in the moon, with her jade rabbit. This poem was inspired by that A light-hearted piece, hope u enjoy it Love Michelle If there cannot be equal in affection, then let the one with more be me - midnightblues™ |

A delightful piece Michelle. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
