An even line, beneath the rim. Fortitude of self within. A fine line's gold, beneath the edge-- just enough to make lips dread. A fan of fingers behind glass-- leaves of tea portend the past-- patterns lie in future's spread. Saturn sighs in voice of dead. Just enough to make me weep. I search of you--within tea leaf. |

Lovely writing. I use tea bags. I'm frightened of what I might see. Joyce |

serenity: I enjoyed your poem. My grandmother used to read tea leaves and it was uncanny how many times things she said she saw, came to pass. Betty Lou Hebert |

Thank you all very kindly--I realize I'm not here much--but I am determined to start to get to know poets from other the less traveled forums as well...it's been to my dismay to discover that I have neglected so many talented poets--Thank you...I will be back to read after "rush hour" is over. Wow from me, too! This is delicately woven with a mystical sense -- holds a bit of a shiver! Lary |
