I'll wear a red paper poppy For the boys and girls I knew Who went to war not to return. It is little enough to do. I'll wear one for all the others Who came home but weren't the same. I'll wear it for each brave hero; Though I may never know his name. If you see veterans selling Bright paper poppies, show your pride.
