You shall not fade from memory,my Love I won't allow such a degrading thought for all the joy and peace was deemed above and from the words you gave the heavens bought I will not reconcile a loss come nigh unto my heart where sores are bleeding still I loved you then I love you now, in sigh and now that feeling formulates my will We carried one another through a time when none before could touch forbidden word and now I carry you within my rhyme for those to read before my eyes that blurred You fade, I bring you back to me again to hold you in a candlelight of rain. That's right. A loving poem. And, memories are the fastest thing in the universe. Melton [This message has been edited by 2dalimit (edited 05-27-2001).] |

I loved this! It reminds me somewhat of some of Browning's work. Betty Lou Hebert |

You shall not fade from memory,my Love I won't allow such a degrading thought for all the joy and peace was deemed above I can relate to these words, memories are the percious thing we have, they become engrained in us. they may fade but they never vanish. beautiful writing "you are what you own in this land, you can be king and it all depends on the view and what you can see" Whipping boy |
