The Future? Smoking in the spring rain on our Order’s front porch watching park bench wetting. A quiet time of reflection nestled behind the cairn that hides our compost pit. Sudden noise assails eyes darting ‘cross the street a youngster braves the rain. He’s whipping green plastic once upon a watering can now victim of youthful rage. The boys arm chops the air bicycle chain strikes, twirls and strikes again and again. Perhaps in tiring; he loops through handle next to spout twirls anew and smashes down. Kicking, stomping, whipping attacking with single mindedness boy bent on utter destruction. One must stop to wonder where such rage is born and where it might lead. ~~~~~~~~~~  |

I too, have seen this before as I'm sure others have. Food for thought indeed. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |
