When I am under sweet spring's spell, I'm like a child at Show and Tell. I want to hold it in my hand, To brag and shout, "Is it not grand?" In other seasons I'm discreet; I don't go skipping down the street. The beauty of a springtime day Takes all my dignity away. I quite regress to my past youth. I'm young again, and that's the truth. Joyce: I love this poem! It makes me feel so much better about my bout of "spring giddiness" which I hope strikes any day now! Betty Lou Hebert |

This is such a cute piece Joyce. That first line is a killer!! Even when I don't say it aloud... the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

Joyce, this is so light and full of a joyous feeling...I love it! and I adore Spring! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |
