Come, breathe in my love and adoration. Come, let it be anointing to your being. A rhapsody in full score consecration of all we are, and all that we can be. Remove the silken veil before my eyes and show me in your countenance, my love. That I am loved more than I realize and you are heaven's gift sent from above. My words fall trite in burning innocence and yet, I feel the words are very real. For in our time of fate we have been blessed. And in our love, your countenance can heal. Come, breathe the thought from lips that never lie. Come feel the love before your time draws nigh. Kathleen Blake "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey." Laurie Lee [This message has been edited by Irish Rose (edited 05-23-2001).] |

Oh, this is so beautiful! A lovely sonnet of love and devotion. i find these impossible for me to write, so I admire your skill and talent here. Exquisite! Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Irish R, Excellent piece. Really liked your sentiments. Just in case you didn't notice or in case you want perfection, lines 2 and 3 each have 11 syls - not exactly pentameter. But other than those 2 spots the whole piece was right on. I really enjoyed this - love to see someone writing more classical forms of poetry. Panne |
