Song On Wing

I heard the trill of meadowlark
rise across the lawn
It bathed me in poetic dew
to greet the break of dawn

It took my very breath away
to hear sweet nature sing
Then in glide across my path
I saw a song take wing

This is very nice and a beautiful picture. I hadn't heard a meadowlark since I left North Dakota. I went back for a visit after 30 years. The moment I stepped out of the car I heard that old familiar tune. I was thrilled. Joyce

I needed that.
The only thing that's singing here is wind, very loud too, storm coming up in a few days they say.

Wish it was Spring already.
