A bard has come into our hall And when the evening meal is through, He'll tell us what he can recall Of when this land was new. We hurry through our chores so we Can gather near the fireplace. I love to see the flickering light Illuminate each face. So late into the night we stay, Enraptured by the tales he tells. Listening to his Druid's voice, That weaves it's magic spells. The fire dies, the children sleep, But still entranced, we stay, Until the rooster crows to show That night has slipped away. Then all day long our heads are filled With visions of the past. We don't know when he'll come again, So memories must last! Betty Lou Hebert |

What a lovely thing, to have a bard entertain you. Joyce |

You weave an enchanting vision, of privileged exposure, of rich atmosphere-common, yet expectfully yearning. Your present verse speaks very highly of your own ability to grasp the attention of others and keep it. Enjoyed it much! David No Better Place do I know Than where Hearts knit as one, For in that grand experience, The Better ALL become. God Bless us All!!!
