The Unfallen Snow Awaiting the unfallen snow, I hold my breath, wonder I’d really like to know. What has kept you away so long, Where have you been, Why have you been gone? When these questions of snow, I had thought to ask, A voice of shadows echoed them back. The answer so painful, No words for the why, So here is the truthful, honest reply. I left to find my own way, To find a love of my own, Make my own mistakes. I learned something valuable, From the unfallen snow, Your past should be, your future road. Kevin |

Kevin, that last line is a jewel. It finally snowed here today, not much but well, it's pretty from the inside! Kathleen-- |

Kevin; How wonderful are your words and this poem flowed with wonder as the snow that never fell! Hugs, Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Kevin, This is a great poem. Didn't understand the deeper meaning at first, but maybe that is because I didn't want to understand it? LOL Dawn |
