My Son, James My son, James was a special baby not wanting to leave the womb. Fought his relunctant way into life then settled in to chow! Often; he nursed each side then downed ten ounce bottles! That was when I had a dawning... I was in deep, deep trouble. My son, James was my special toddler friends called us Big and Little Bear. We wore the same favorite overalls "little buddy" reflection of his Dad. My fondest memory; at our beach making highways in the sand. He loved his trucks and such running to share his discoveries. My son, James was a special child sharp as a tack and oh so bright. Always got the best of grades made me proud with his smarts. My life complete with my son if only I had grown-up in time. I selfishly ran, to save my life without him, I had lost it. My son, James was a special teen despite the tears and longing. Oh how I wish it could have been my son at my side, growing together. I weep for those missed years seeing in mind’s eye his reaching out. The guilt and shame, oh the pain of leaving my son behind. My son, James is a special man picked up the pieces and excelled. Someday I hope his turn is better avoiding mistakes I have made. I pray for God to richly bless him walk with him wherever he may go. Please bless our reborn relationship for I have always loved him so... Happy Birthday to my special son, James! Tramp Poet: once a scooter tramp no choice about poet... This is very nice. I envy the fact that you still have your son. But the time I had with mine was a blessing stright from God. Joyce |

A special poem for a special son, but then, all sons are special to their parents. May your future relationship be fulfilling for both of you. Betty Lou Hebert |

I've found that our children are more forgiving of us than we are of ourselves. God bless you both! |
