Shattered Silence I woke within the pearly light That marked the ebbing of the night And as the sky began to show The promise of a golden glow, Bird song pierced the crystal air. Silence shattered, everywhere! Betty Lou Hebert [This message has been edited by Trillium (01-02-2002 11:51 PM).] |

Betty, how simply enchanting this is! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Fantastic...I could not have described dawn as well as you... ~~Jamie "...Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." --Robert Frost |

Many many a nights I have stayed awake, to come to that moment where a rainbow of colors seem to twirl forward delivering a bird filled chirping day, with crisp air and the gold pouring out, God of Honey pouring out and drowning out the strange hues of red and purple. When the realization that I had just stayed up the whole night sitting on my deck - with my silent friends all in a daize - I could do nothing less than burst out into laughter and say - Good Morning! To you, Good Morning! [This message has been edited by RadikalGenetics (01-04-2002 11:58 PM).] |
