Old friends, new night just talking neath a streetlight smiling often at the sight of another soul, that fits just right A joke, a laugh , a gentle sigh make it hard to say goodbye but when the moon is long past high its kind of silly to even try A gentle walk beneath the stars the neon lights of closing bars the smell of pavement neath the feet of a dear old friend you chance to meet At the steps, at her door be nice to have this night once more and maybe sometime when time is gone the moonlit night will linger on and on " The question shouldn't be...'Why are we here?' but rather 'ARE we here? " |

SolsticeSon~ 'be nice to have this night once more' Relishing that thought ... this is lovely~ Very delicately romanticized~ I really enjoyed it~ *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Sol.... Your right there is nothing in the world like true romance. So hard to find now days...but I am still deep in the trenches.. This shall give me hope... Best |

What a lovely evening you've described with perfect rhyme and flow....with moments like this, you really do want them to last forever. Beautifully written! Hugs, ~Krista Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself. Thank you for having the courage to share yourself so that I can too [This message has been edited by SmittenKitten (edited 12-13-2001).] |

Best girl, thank you and hang in there...or just be romantic anyway..sometimes that's a draw all its own SmitKit~ thanks for your words~ its more a bit of self indulging daydreaming than anything true to life....but it makes me feel good...nonetheless Sol " The question shouldn't be...'Why are we here?' but rather 'ARE we here?
