Where can I ever find the words
to make you understand,
That on this crooked walk through life,
I'll never let go of your hand.
My shoulders may seem weak to you,
But trust me ~ they are not,
They'll give all the support you need ~
Perhaps you just forgot.
Maybe you need a reminder
Of the strength you've given me,
Or of the way you struggled,
To set my spirit free ~
We have travelled so far together,
So many long talks at night,
Do you really think I would ever let go,
Without putting up a good fight?
I'll be there through the tough times,
With warm hugs to dry the tears,
Climbing those mountains together,
Overcoming the fears.
And if you do not see me there,
Just turn around my friend,
I'll always be right there for you,
Until this journey's end.
