Just three words Yet very hard to utter I am sorry Just three words admitting failure But without those three words A sentence of A lifetime of regret |

This is so true! Don't know why it's so hard at times to say "I'm sorry". Betty Lou Hebert |

Before reading the poem, I thought it would be about I love you, but it was the opposite. Good work. Ronil (One becomes god only when they have fully understood the role of being a human being.) |

SongBird~ I've never had a problem with saying 'I'm so sorry' ... and 'I love you' flows just as easily for me. I find they are a wonderful combination ... When sincerely meant ... they are AWESOME and flow so easily ! Thanks for this reminder of what a heavy burden we bear if we don't use both of these phrases when the need presents itself. *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I dont know it depends what I've done but yeah I feel this way sometimes too. Don't ever give in, if you do you've lost everything you've ever had and everything you hope to gain, but if you carry on your already winning. |

Nice poem, Songbird. I don't think it is hard for me to say I am sorry. I don't always know perhaps if I have hurt someone. But they should be easy to say. Joyce |

Admitting failure is hard. But sometimes being sorry is not failure but a jesture of saying I am not perfect. I enjoyed your view on this subject. -------------- |

I have never found it too hard to say sorry, but if you really, deeply mean it and feel it....it dosen't seem nearly enough. One's not half two it's two are halves of one EE Cummings |

So true Songbird ~ I don't have any problem saying "I'm sorry"...in fact, it seems to be my favorite phrase most days!!! This is a lovely little piece of truth. Bonnie [This message has been edited by BSC (edited 06-27-2001).] |

I often apologize for the trivial things..like stuttering while I'm trying to clearly explain something to someone. I often have trouble apologizing for the bigger things. I like the thought in this. |
