The Gift

I see your love
In every waking moment.
It plays across your smile,
And lights up in your eyes.

I feel your love
In every single touch.
It sparks in the trace of a fingertip,
And explodes in a gentle caress.

I taste your love
In every minute kiss.
It intoxicates like vintage wine,
And brings a sense of peaceful bliss.

I hear your love
In every uttered whisper.
It floats easy on the ear,
And settles softly in the soul.

I smell your love
In the waft of your cologne.
It tells me you are near,
And lets me know that I am truly home

You are love personified.
My senses receive a gentle lift.
My heart beats along with yours,
And my soul rejoices in your gift.

Thanks all for your kind words. I made a poster of it for my husband. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but I couldn't wait to give it to him. So he received it last night.

Oh, and Tramp.....He sends a big 'ol sloppy kiss to ya. LOL Love ya Sis.

Wow, I wrote this so long ago. The love is still there, stronger than ever. Thanks for the reminder and Merry Christmas!! Annie, I'm prayin' he's a keeper and that he's as good to you as Mike is to me. Love and Hugz and Merry Christmas Sweetie.
