There was a young woman Who lived in a shoe, She had so many children It felt like a zoo. No sandal could hold them No sneaker or clog. 10 children plus animals- cats, fish and dog. She had several husbands #'s 1,2 and 3..... Who croaked before she did Once again she was free #4 was a bum He died of a stroke All husbands had left her Lonely and broke Now older, not wiser It was time to move on All of the children had Grown up and spawned To Florida she goes For some fun and some sun To meet #5 Now our poem is done co written and published on this site with the permission of Connie & Rose Ivy (ivypoet) |

I love it ... I am SO LAUGHING ... and there's a story behind the laughter~ Just last Friday I went to my beauty salon, a woman came in while I was getting my hair done who NEVER SHUT HER MOUTH ... she blathered on and on and on ... in a voice that could be heard by all patrons and workers whether they wanted to hear her or not~ She was 46 years old ... had been married and divorced 4 times ... LOL ... was getting a 'new' look so she could set out to attempt to snare #5 ! I swear this is true ... this reminded me of this~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |
