2006 Reunion We came by plane, by car, by bike From many states away, Descending on their little farm For our reunion day. They met us with hurrahs and smiles And said goodbye with tears, Knowing we'd not meet again For another two, long years. Our family reunions are A grand and glorious feast And everyone's held in esteem From the eldest to the least. We filled the days with reminisce, Long evenings with great fun; Storing memories to bless us all When this event was done. Our gracious hostess, Patty Turned it to a grand affair I'm sorry for the relatives Who didn't make it there. Another day, another time We'll send out the call again, To meet with those we love the most, Our near and distant kin. By: Joyce 2/08/06 |

Thanks Enchantress and Bob. Yes inded, I had a happy birthday. I had a cake and celebration at the reunion and when I came home all of my own family was gathered at my daughter's for a birthday party for me. They didn't even give me time to wipe the road dust off my face. Love, Joyce |

Joyce~ To stay in touch means so much when kin are spread far and wide To gather in remembered reunion is a great source of pride~ I am glad that you had fun, and returned safely home now through the gazillion email messages you must now roam~ ![]() Happy Birth-of-day, my friend I know that you must be as happy as a child-at-heart with such obvious glee~ *Huglets* ![]() ~*Marge*~ ~*The sound of a kiss is not as strong as that of a cannon, but it's echo endures much longer*~ |

I went to a family reunion once. That was when my Grandma was alive. I think she held this disfunctional family together. It strikes me as funny that you went to a family reunion I wonder if it is the same family reunion as songbirds husband went to. |

Dear Joyce: Thanks for the great poem outlining your family reunion. I loved going to them but I haven't been now since 1988. So many older family members have passed on and the younger ones don't seem interested. All my relatives are in Canada, so that poses a problem too. I'm so glad you got to go to yours and obviously really enjoyed yourself. Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |

Thanks. The next one will be here at my place. I had the biggest one ever in 2001. Joyce |
