The Chance The chance came, and my back was turned I never had a clue That the feelings you had for me were the same I shared for you My chance is now gone, and those days are far past But still I thank God every night that you have found happiness at last He is not me, but puts that beautiful smile on your face And that alone brightens my most gloomy of days… |

What I liked about this poem was wanting the happiness of another more than their own, now that is true love. Nicely done and enjoyed. picturegramic :) |
