To give you a better life, Jesus died In dark times, never leaves your side He truly knows what you think and say At your work, with family, or at play God wants your heart and your soul Honoring and loving him is his goal Just ask God to come into your life Forgive your sins, comfort your strife You can't put God in layaway at a store Life's better if your heart's an open door God does not accept credit cards at all Read the Bible, live righteouly and pray Thank God for his blessings every day A Personal Relationship will never part This is the way to give God you heart By: Brenda Hall "thepassionatepoet" |

To all who read my poem, Give God Your Heart: I left out the 4th line of the 3rd verse, which is to be read as follows: He patiently awaits one heartfelt call I apologize for the mistake.
