the shore, a sprawling premonition,
longing, a craving searching up the sands.
silver laced laughter beckons to the waves
the heart, oh the heart of this,
buried in the depths.
reach, the waters strain for the heavens,
ephemeral height a passing dream
caught in sighs upon the land.

love laced memories etched into the sand,
mortal, not meant for day,
the moon calls to the depthless,
heavy hearted imprints back towards the quay,
foam tipped crests wash the grains from the hourglass,
timeless memory drifts away

There is goodness in this, the deep and gentle kind that lasts.
