Its the function of a memory To pass the time in reverie And wonder what still is to be All my life an abesentee The perfect world Is a warped plateau In my heart I pretend not to know Where is this place I was supposed to go The memories, they seem...so long ago I'm at the point in a distant scene Where everything is a dull routine Have I slipped through it all unseen Hidden behind my own thick screen The perfect world Is a warped plateau The smoothest surface is never so Too little time to see that show All these things to me...I'm never to know |
