i wake him with a gentle kiss
and whisper in his ear
breakfast is almost ready
your coffee is right here

he pulls me close
his thank you clear
slipping back under the covers
because he wants me near

breakfast cold now as he eats
we sit and plan our day
thank you Lord, please keep him safe
as out the door,off to work, he is on his way

thank you Joyce and yes, God has richly blessed me with someone who not only has decided he wants to love me, but won't run away when the rollercoaster ride gets too scary....Now I just have to do my part and trust God to help me learn to love and trust again. Neither one of them is giving up on me, and for that I truly am thankful and blessed.

sweetie, he does not push me, does not rush me, does not lie to me, and will not let me run away from him just because of the pain and rollercoaster ride. he is not afraid to work, or love, and doesn't lay guilt trips on me at every turn I make. I don't disappoint him. and when i have a problem with some of the very recent past he doesn't pout. maybe just maybe God will help me get it right this time.
