In your shadow I'm lost and alone Shivering, trembling, I'm so cold Always in the darkness Waiting to see the light No one ever sees me When will it be my time to shine so bright? Silent cries go unheard Fallen tears go unseen My heart is bleeding My mind is pleading I'm starving for affection Longing for a love that isn't there Tired of these feelings No one seems to care Desperately waiting Hoping and praying Wondering if this pain will ever end Losing faith, dreams and desires No one can comprehend No one understands how I feel They only see what they want I'm so sad and scared I'm falling apart Like a caterpillar trapped in a small dark cocoon I need to spread my wings and soar Waiting to break free This is my final plea |
