the first time i met you i knew you were the last man i would ever love and i gave you my heart i asked you to be careful with it it was fragile from the previous breaks gentle touches, soft caress's and words of love oh so sweet you would protect and love given promise to guard it with your very life words of love that need to be said but trapped in this beating wasteland called a heart for the things that i want and need to say can't be said to deaf ears broken toy tossed aside rollercoaster ride too wild anger, hurt, pride overlooking her desperation and fear pushing out all but the enemy with every new beat pain and hurt leaking from fresh breaks alone once again, tis the way of things heart shattered like broken glass caution: heart now guarded with razor wire JoAnne Burt (all rights reserved) 11/06/05 there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |

thanks joyce, there is nothing left to give anyone, but God will heal with time, and the razor wire will stay in place for a very long time Annie there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |

thanks Pegasus, but mortals we are and mortals we stay. things are much better, now that guards are in place. Annie there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |

I understand your pain. I do feel it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. I also believe broken hearts heal and become bigger. Someday someone is going to come along and melt that wire! Don't give up on love! |

Annie, I honestly believe that someone will be by your side in "due season" and he will be the most blessed man on earth for being with you. I hope that when it happens you will let him love you and care for you as the wonderful person that you are. |

a true romantic never gives up but there does come a time when caution is important. had i been more cautious this last time the wire would be gone by now. there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |

Oh Phaerie...what can i say. just not sure there is anything left in here to love. after all this wasnt my first rodeo either. sometimes think it's easier this way Annie there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |
