Watcher Released

the Watcher is now free
no other encumbering passion
some say...burden to society.
he is watching and recording
his home is his shopping cart
his soul pure as he watches.

Laughing out loud, with abandon
standing in stream of humanity
the Watcher is as ever alone.
the others flow by and by
a river of sliding eyes, shifting
some pay for right of passage.

he watches them all carefully
suspicious when he retreats
camp secure, deserted, invisible.
Writing ever writing, sunset
smiling with inner satisfaction
the Watcher safe now, alone.

middle of the earliest morn
awakened by damned screams
laughing again when realized...
still chuckling at Library
working at the recording terminal
the Watcher is now free

Tramp;

I hope this is not your situation but only an expression of what you feel.  Are you still in Georgia?  Feel free to give me a call sometime.

Love,
Bea

Daniel~
While I did like this part -

'Writing ever writing, sunset
smiling with inner satisfaction
the Watcher safe now, alone.'

-I'm actually not sure what this penning is all about?
Can you enlighten me, please ?

this is a piece of urban-reality mixed with one of my established characters...
depicting a homeless persons reality, maybe, hopefully. Nothing personal...yet.
hey Bea was nice talking to ya!
thank you Marge for asking...it means alot to me!

Hi there, I always love the way you write and this one once again captures the reality of life and of the sadness of this situation. Nice writing , wishing you continued happiness.
