I only danced that way with you
We only moved that way together
I know you remember it too.
It will be a part of us forever.

Relationships fall and memories fade
But we got to dance for a while
Nothing will ever be the same
It’s in your eyes and in your smile

We’ve moved on, still great friends
We talk and laugh with each other
No more dances, we’ve past the end
But we’ll remember it forever.

We dream of dancing once more
Moving to the music again
But time has closed that door
No more dances for us my friend.

I only danced like that way with you
We only moved that way together
I know you remember it too.
It will be a part of us forever.

Thank you both so much...I always feel so welcome here.
I come often and read the beautiful poetry but my muse hasn't really been with me as of late.
