When life is Oh, so very hard,
And more than you can bear

When all seems lost, confused, and deep,
Your hopes lost in dark despair

When you just can't make any sense
Of the hurt and the dismay

When nothing seems to be quite right,
And you've simply lost your way

Remember there is someone,
Who loves you, that is true

But, also offers up his hand,
To be a friend to you

A friend who asks not for himself,
But, one to just be there

In that dark and lonely place with you,
If you should need his care

For, is not a friend an instrument,
Of a bright and higher power

One to gently light your way,
In this your trying hour

Let this be your comfort then,
In this darkest time

Reach out your hand, if you need to,
And there you shall find mine

the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost
