Sinking in a crimson sea
everything a part of me
floating everywhere

knowing what I have to do
knowing what I should have done
knowing I will do
nothing else at all

I cower beneath
the ominous black sky
there is nowhere to go
but under the waves

but I bob along
for a bit longer
maybe I can hold onto something
something may come soon

or not

but I won’t sink just yet

Love's a lovely lad
His bringing up is beauty
Who loves him not is mad
For I must pay him duty

I liked this one very much and know exactly how it feels to be so close to giving in to the dakness and yet still with that glimmer of sweet hope.... that beacon of light that just keeps us afloat
