Intense concentration on a cinnamon face, lines carved deep from wind and sun. Eyes black pools of truth and honour, that shine with the gloss of inner peace. His spine as strong as that of the old tree, draped in skins dried ,cut and adorned. muscles - iron like, polished in sweat, feet swathed in hide as tough as his soles. Creased brow etched with honest toil, he stoops to tether his white stallion. Miles and worlds away from the city, on a plain of dust and simple needs. Indian man—dreamer of Horse and spear, draws water from earth and fire from within. Red skin - passionate like the midday sun, proudly reigns his ancestral land. |
