Memories and Prayers I came here to your grave to pray. No flowers could I bring today. Upon your stone, a handprint though, I left behind,so you would know I brought my memories to share. I almost saw you standing there, Your face alight with welcome smile. I stood and daydreamed for awhile And when I turned away at last, My thoughts still dwelling in the past, A breeze brought rose scent and the sound Of wild birds singing, all around! OhBettyLou~ 'My thoughts still dwelling in the past' You would know that I would know this feeling~ I think of the many times that I've left that 'handprint' ... somehow it feels real to be touching ... touching~ This is lovely, dear~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
