Life And Death For those who were And are not Weep not They sleep the everlasting sleep of peace Safe in the arms of Him Whose love is boundless Whose mercy is infinite For those who were And are not Yet loved and were loved Rejoice For their love is immortal testimony To the worth of their existence Pity instead those who are Yet do not love Shed tears for those whose fingers Do not tremble with tenderness For another Is not the miracle of life with love However short Immeasurably preferable to the barren hell Of loveless sentience? For those who are and also loved Cast off sadness and despair You are truly the blessed of this earth A thousand eons cannot tarnish The richness of your precious gift. the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

pegasus111: I guess this emphasizes that old adage: "Life is for the living". Well done. Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
