If this be the end of the affair The dregs on the bottom of the cask Strong and bitter on the palate Let us at least celebrate the event Salute the conclusion in grand style My dear friends in a common cause Mugs hoisted at the ready cocked Impatient for the host to set the tone To the one that set my mind ablaze With visions of a fairytale come true And turned my heart to grayest ash Deathly cold in the grimy hearth To love’s sweet kiss upon trembling lip To sighs that echo in the night Breath upon breath in dawning’s light Now shattered by deception’s ploy You see this shell with glass in hand Ready with a smile and final flair So drink my friends this one last time In memory of sweet nevermore the woods are lovely, dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep, and many miles to go before I sleep...Frost |

we all tend to put on the happy face for friends, oh pegasus, i hope that this isn't you and if it is that you are alright. i gave up the pretense that friends and families expected of me just a short time ago. for me things have taken a new direction and as always my heart is going to be tugged along. what are we if we can't love. Annie there is but a short time to exist, love,laugh,live and never stop believing in miracles |
