Friends?

Tears are falling...again
seems tis mostly, they say
sorry for sorrows and pain
happiness stolen, taken away.

They did everything possible
then carried on an extra mile
strength failed, fallen aside
what could be worse, more tragic?

Left behind child, innocent
cries for Papa every night
seems curse repeated, repeated
very, very far from all right.

Years of tears, broken
littering lifelong trail, praying
wondering?never changing
nevermind how, when or why.

In the end...tis both
who weep, bitterly, one alone
his goodness discounted, discarded
her tears falling in empty home.

She needs, he needs, they need
each found, lost, going on
tears, smiles, all of it... history
can we be bittersweet friends?

In order for us both to go on we need to be able to be friends. I love you tramp and always will. Can we have a friendship from the heart and not let the rest of the pain get tangled up with it? I hope so, you are still a very big part of my life, you always will be and I miss you more than I can tell you!

The pain felt just reading your poetry tells me you truely are vexed by the complicated circumstances of your situation, just wanted you to know that i hold no grudges, and house no anger, whats dun cant be undone, i truelly hope you find whatever it is you seek, with minimal damage to a weakened soul.
