~ By Sue ~ When I needed a friend I had a few Right here in these pages That are so blue I held the tears deep within Where no one could even see My heart was broken I had no peace I wrote about the pain I felt The pain that seemed to stay But, I can tell you, now The pain has gone away I work hard to gain success To get back on me feet again It seems a very slow process But, I remember where I've been I don't have all I want But, I have what I need A place to call my own With a place to sleep I am not a quitter I will continue on I hold my head up high Success will be my own 2-13-05 |
