What do you think so far? Worth continuing? Any ways I can improve? Thanks

Love fade not through gossamer clouds above,
nor let thy footprints wear to salted tears,
to a sea eternal in it’s absence of love,
for I know too well life lived in loveless years.

Those years hath passed so long before yet love I do,
For each breath I breathe this heart grows fonder,
For ne’er the sea, nay, the heavens are more true,
As when night turns from day and I sight thy love yonder.

The songs of the nightingale a moonlit night
Are so beautiful yet at their best all doth fail,
For none so precious as thy love captures my sight,
Tho’ still hidden beneath thy mysterious veil.

So long as there is breath in me, I live,
Yet without thy love there is no essence in life,
For none so precious a thing could thee give,
Than that of your love and you my wife
