Christmas in Coeur d'Alene Oh, little town of Coeur d'Alene, Beneath your starry skies, Bright lights go up along the lake, To dazzle people's eyes. The cruise boats take their loads across To Santa's village, where, That fabled man comes out to greet Whoever travels there! The children believe in fantasies And dreams fill every head. They know that he will visit them When they are all in bed And over all the merry scene, The carols of old appear To drift upon the mountain air, Their message sweet and clear. To love your neighbor as yourself. Help those who are in need. Give reverence to the Child of God In every word and deed! Betty Lou Hebert |

If you haven't seen the Fantasy of Lights and taken a ride on a cruise boat after dark, you have not experienced one of the great pleasures of Christmas. I hope you can one of these days! Bob: Our youngest son who just turned 40 and our daughter whose birthday is the 24th, (I won't give away her age) started us on the annual cruise boat trip through the Fantasy of Lights. I'm going to have to get up there one of these times to see that! I was up there a couple summers ago, and wow...that area is so beautiful. I bet it's gorgeous this time of year. |
