empathy an understanding smile mixed with concerned glance tears rush out...crashing. ramdom act of kindness, indeed empathy from unknown teller anguish spilling without mercy. every sorrow ever known bursting forth in torrent uncontrolable... weakness exposed. weeping that is overwhelming all comes crashing, fierce, bursting falling down in the bank. quite simply ... never ending excited, legal flurry of activity sorrow driven inside with concern. a glass of water, coolness a pat of hand, quickly hugged all is bottled again, captured. doing what we do to ourselves extends to those about, around us self loathing infects, poisons again. Future built on past’s pain weeping for fifty years of failure empathy comes crashing down. ~~~~~~  |
