Good Morning America It's Tuesday September the eleventh Two Thousand and One It's a beautiful day in New York Grab yourself a cup of coffee And stay tuned Good Morning America The coffee has been brewing a long time Surprised you didn't smell it, we are too It has been brewing right here under our noses We just must have been just too absorbed In our cell phones Driving under the influence of sleep |

I guess we are not by nature, a suspicious people. We open our doors to all people, never dreaming they have murder in their hearts. The fact that these terrorists have lived here and trained here, makes what has happened, even more bitter. Betty Lou Hebert |

I have a funny feeling they won't be sleeping anymore. |

Like Betty said, ‘we are not by nature, a suspicious people’, but now, we will be on our guard. Thanks for the wake up call. Melton [This message has been edited by 2dalimit (edited 09-17-2001).] |

Who would believe that Tuesday clear blue morning would bring such tragedy and sorrow…yes, its been brewing to long. But for this to happen….it is just to much. Wordancer, the poet who writes to the beat of a different drummer. |

Too frightening altogether, that we became so complacent...may we never need another wake-up call...God have mercy and protect us all! A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

Thanks for your comments..I however feel that none of my words are adquate to convey the horrendous effect this has had on our globe.. yet I overwhelmed by the heroic acts and sympathy we have been shown. I am proud to be an American, and more inportant a child of God. His love never fails. [This message has been edited by Songbird (edited 09-26-2001).] |

It is true...you have said it all. It seems so tragic that terrorism was right under our noses and we didn't even realize the threat. Excellent expression here in so few words. I'm adding this one to the Library!!! Thanks... ~~Jamie "There's something wrong with the world today..." --Aerosmith, Living on the Edge |
