Love makes us happy
Love makes us nice

Love keeps us all warm
and fuzzy inside
It banishes the blues
and makes sorrow subside

Alas!
Love makes us silly
Love makes us hate
Love gives way to jealousy
and then from it sparks rage

Then so we quarrel
and say spiteful things
We sneer with contempt
and become really mean

But
Love also means forgiveness
and using our commonsence
to transcend all evil
say sorry and make amends
Love needs polishing
to keep it good and kind
So shower it with tender loving care
and make sure that it shines

We often quarrel with our loved ones, no? Well, I wrote this after a quarrel with my mum.. it kinda made me see the other side of love.. the way it should be
