Ok. I know i have left out a few VERY special people. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. You are astounding poets, and I didnt leave you out for any reason, I just simply couldn't find a good way to make your name rhyme! This poem is dedicated to all of the best poets whose work we are honored and privileged to be able to read on this wonderful website. Enjoy! --------------------------------------------------- I WRITE BAD POETRY (A Tribute to Passions in Poetry) by Joseph Knob I write bad poetry. I write bad poetry. I write bad poetry. But I'm afraid you do too. I said, I write bad poetry. I write bad poetry. I write bad poetry. But I'm afraid, my friend, that you may too. Unless you are Sunshine, or Janet Marie, or Poet deVine, and Nan or Denise. You dont write bad poetry, if your name's Marge Tindal or Mistletoe Angel or Ms. garysgirl. But I write bad poetry. Very bad poetry. I write bad poetry, and I'm afraid so do you... ...unless you bear a name like catalinamoon. I laugh myself to tears, when I read Balladeer. and Enchantress..I'm under her spell.. Madame Chipmunk impressed me so much, but nothing like old Earth Angel! That EagleScorpion, is just a big dorkian, He doesn't come close to Seymour Tabin, He doesn't see, that he's no Larry C, Severn, Ron, Skyfire, or Paula Finn. Toerag's the man! So is Suetang! Elizabeth Santos is sweet! wayoutwalt rules! So does inkedgoddess, I'm also quite partial to that Honeybee! Bill Charles and Magnus, Acies and SVEN! Mysteria, Nightshade, and Mark Bohannan! You all have a talent I wish I could find. Maybe one day, I could be like Startime! (Sigh) I write bad poems. Lots of you know. I am no Greeneyes. I'm no DopeyDope. I write bad poetry. I write bad poetry. I write bad poetry. I'm sure you have too. |

Sandgrain just sent this to me and wondered if I had seen it, and I have to admit I did not. I do apologize for having missed it when you first wrote it because I would sure say, "Like heck you write bad poetry!" I think we all feel that way from time to time, and I know I sure do right now, with being so busy with life, I have no time for "squat!" Thank you for including me in there, and I happen to read you all the time and can honestly say, this poem is moot! You write very, very well! |
