Packing My Soul Life is like a mileage of rummage, Preparing for a trip to be started, Feeling being raw within own heart, Yet phone bills keep me from being free. When I can’t see the whole picture, My wrinkles appear on my forehead, Feeling the earth is quaking before me, Yet a table is what I have with me. Life is like a mileage of rummage, Preparing for jammed traffics, Feeling all things under my fingertips, Yet really have no idea of depth of unseen. When I can view the entire picture, My mind hesitates, jammed with red light, Feeling the world’s garbage are within my room, Yet two hands are all I have with me. Life is like a mileage of rummage, Preparing for the peak and pit… Feeling drown when I am among the “sea”, Yet triumph shows through as beach become sand. ©August 6, 2004 Eliza Simmons Eliza Simmons |

Juju, Your poem reminds me of the kinds of days I am experiencing at the moment. Great poem! Patricia 'When you find a dream within your heart, don't ever let it go. |
