The waves roll in Boats scatterd across the horrizon Lite breeze floating in though the screen door The Democratic National Convention on Television Ikea opening its door to the public Everyone rush to the blue palace of cheap in-a-box-need- to- assembled- furniture I'd like to tell the over hyped media to "shove it" Here I am Sitting in front of my Aunt's Gateway Government Provided laptop Listening to Rush's Signals album on my ipod Trying to write a poem About our vaction to the Connicut beachhouse I didn't want to come here at first Many steps And no real bathroom on the first floor I trasformed into a tornado and torpedoed my room In a fit of I don't know what Now that we are here We are managing fine As the waves roll in The gentle breeze swims in the open windows And the Domocratic National Convention on television Vote Kerry/Edwards |
