It Was A Day Of Hummingbirds ~*Marge Tindal*~
It was a day of Hummingbirds in tiny flit on wing of Butterflies and Dragonflies as colorful feathers vocalized with Robins in the sing~
It was a chorus of nature’s song across the mellow of the lawn a day replete with the sound of resonating joy in abundant abound~
It was a day Oh indeed, it was a day … of giving humble thanks for the melodious sounds that came my way~

Oh Marge...how I love this! You have to know that the hummingbird is right up there as one of my favourite birds. Two summers ago I had one land on my hand!!! Yup....sat right on my finger...out in the wild. Thank you for this reminder of just one of God's many gifts. ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~

Dear Marge: What a joyous poem! It lifted my spirits to read it. We too, enjoy the hummingbirds we see and I'm sure they are different than yours as we are the country apart. I saw a white chinned one here for the first time ever, this year. Didn't even know what it was until I ran for my book. Right now they are feeding heavily and I fill the feeders every day. Thanks for this lovely poem!

Oh Marge! This is such a beautiful poem. I've always thought Hummingbirds were one of the most wonderful of all God's creatures. Such tiny little delicate birds! Here in the big city I only catch a glimpse of them from time to time. When I do, I stand in awe at their beauty!

I'll bet each little bird left with a little tiny poem stamped on it's head. "A Marge Tindal Original!" Love, Barb

Oh Marge I love to watch those cute little feathered friends. I hung a hummingbird feeder from my porch. But, when I went out to look at it one day, it was covered with ants. I was so disappointed.I had looked forward to watching those cute little birds. But, when I found my bird feeder covered with ants, I just took it down. So, I don't get to see those cute little birds. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Marge, what a wonderful poem to be reading at 1:15 a.m. and prepare to settle down for the evening, as I'm sitting here listening to the mockingbird lullaby outside. ....jo

Dear Marge
I've heard so much about hummingbirds through Betty Lou. We do not get hummingbirds here. How blessed you all are that do.
A lovely poem.
