I awaited this day with great anticipation
A chance to spend an afternoon alone with Arielle
To have an off campus adventure
Maybe I’d find out if she feels something more
For me
I made sure to wear a nice shirt
Brush my teeth
And comb my hair
Afternoon comes
I have no idea when she will arrive
I pace the hallways
With every passing hour
My anticipation slowly sinks into despair
I have no idea where she is
I leave a message with her roommate
Unsure if she would ever receive it
I watch a Bela Fleck video with Tim
The virtuosic, primary control driven performances
Lift my spirits slightly
Time drags on
I finally give up
And pop in the Bob Dylan Unplugged DVD
As he walks onstage
And the opening chords of “Tombstone Blues” resonate
She appears in my doorway

Theres nothing worse than waiting,,'specialy in such a circumstance,,,,,but,,,I sure she had a good reason for being late?

i feel sorry for ya..... i must agree with michelle.... she did have a good reason to be late didn't she????? hope so, for your sanity's sake.....
